Fearless by Max Lucado

I just finished reading Fearless by Max Lucado. As with all of Max’s books, he heads straight to the point and uses examples and stories that really speak to the heart. He offers a glimpse of what life can be like without fear, and offers practical tips and solutions to handling those fears that grip us the most.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was easy to read, and very encouraging. Max writes with such honesty and does not diminish or negate the fact that many of us suffer from rational fears that we allow to take over our lives. He wrote about many topics of fear that I personally deal with, and by reading his words, it helped me to realize how these fears can spiral out of control. This book helps put things into a Godly perspective and also offers realistic and logical ways to handle the anxieties we place on ourselves.

I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a new perspective on an age old problem. It is worded well, and filled with stories that anyone can directly relate to. I loved that it is not a time consuming book, I am a fast reader and read it in two days, but it is formatted well for those who can only read a chapter here and there. You will not be disappointed.
